Training is a key element to reducing workplace accidents. OSHA compliance may help prevent injuries and workers' compensation claims. Violations can be prevented with education and training. Cecil College offers OSHA classes in HAZWOPER, HAZMAT First Responder, Workplace Safety, Blood-borne Pathogens, Repiratory Protection, and Construction Safety as well as Environmental Safety and Health Courses covering Lead-Based Paint Worker Certification and EPA AHERA Asbestos Worker Certification. In addition, Cecil College is host to FREE Maryland Occupational Safety and Health (MOSH) Programs.
