The library of Cecil College is open to the general public. However, borrowing privileges are available only to CCC students, faculty, staff and members of the Cecil College Alumni Association.

Borrowing Privileges
Cecil College Students:
A Cecil College Library Card must be used to check-out any of the items in the borrowing table above. Please bring your library card with you.
Faculty and StaffFaculty and staff may be able to check-out additional items; inquire at the circulation desk.
AlumniMembers of the Cecil College Alumni Association may borrow books from the library. If you are an alumni member please notify the person at the front desk.
Library Cards
Users must have a valid library card in order to check out materials, use items on reserve, and access online datatbases. There is no charge for a library card. However, students should bring a Schedule of classes with them to obtain a card. DO NOT DISCARD YOUR LIBRARY CARD at the end of the semester. Bring it to the library and renew (reactivate) it at the beginning of each semester. There is a $5.00 replacement fee for lost cards.
Items on Reserve
Students must have a library card with them in order to look at items placed on reserve by the instructors.
Interlibrary Loan
Books or articles not available in our library nor in a full-text database can be obtained from other libraries through our interlibrary loan program. Ask for an interlibrary loan form at the circulation desk or on our catalog under user services fill out an interlibrary loan request form. Allow several weeks for your item to come in.
Lost or Damaged Items
The cost of replacement for lost or damaged items will be charged to the borrower
