Time Management and Organization Workshop

Students and community members are invited to listen to great rock music from the sixties performed by Cecil's performing arts students while they exercise their civic duty and register to vote.

Students and community members are invited listen to great rock music from the sixties performed by Cecil’s performing arts students while they exercise their civic duty and register to vote! The monthly Eat Your Arts has been expanded to two hours for this event. So bring your lunch and listen after you register.

Celebrate Cecil College’s 40th Anniversary. The festival will be a combination of family oriented activities, education, entertainment and of course, good food. We will be offering a “Taste of Cecil County” where visitors can sample some of the local fare. Area crafters will display and sell their creations, and community organizations will provide information about what they have to offer. The festival’s fall theme will be accentuated by pumpkin decorating contests for the kids as well as plenty of apple cider, fall produce, pumpkins and other autumn goodies. An exhibit with the history of Cecil College in conjunction with the 40th anniversary will also be on display. The open house component will entail tours of the buildings, demonstrations from faculty and will be led by student leaders. This is an opportunity for guests to see the campus and classrooms and learn about our educational offerings. Admission to this event is free and open to the public.

Effective Study Strategies Workshop

Come and share the experiences of our faculty who were previously students and their unique perspective of Cecil College from both sides. Moderated by Kristi Eisenberg, Professor of Visual Communications, participants include Dr. Mary Way Bolt, Vice President of Academic Programs; Dr. Roxanne Rash, Professor of Nursing; Ed Durham, Athletic Director; Fred McDonald, Associate Professor of History, and others to be announced.
