Beatlemania Again! 8:00pm Milburn Stone Theatre
The world’s premier Beatles stage show has been performed around the globe for millions of people and continues to attract audiences of all ages. There are no backing tracks or offstage musicians, nor is there any sequencing used. Everything is performed live. The production features three amazing costume changes throughout the show, which takes you on a musical journey. “Meet The Beatles” starts the show with their arrival in America early in 1964. Watch as Beatlemania Again magically transforms into “Sgt. Pepper” during the psychedelic years. Pharmacy Technician Program Information Session 7:00pm Elkton Station
Cecil College is hosting information sessions for its new pharmacy technician training program. Pharmacy technicians help the pharmacist package or mix prescriptions, maintain client records, refer clients to the pharmacist for counseling, assist with inventory control and purchasing, collect payment, and coordinate billing. The course combines 182 hours of classroom instruction with a 160-hour pharmacy externship to provide students with a complete training and learning experience.
Designed for busy adults, the 27-week program will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays, beginning Feb. 6, at Elkton Station. Graduates will receive a certificate of completion and become eligible to apply for registration as a pharmacy technician in their state. They will also be prepared to take the national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board exam. Students are required to be at least 18 years old. Other prerequisites include a high school diploma or GED, and assessment testing in math, English and computer skills.
