We can help
The Cecil College Foundation, Inc. raises funds in support of student programs
and activities at CCC. Each year, as one benefit of its annual fundraising efforts, the
Foundation offers financial support to Cecil College students through
existing scholarship funds that have been established over the years by generous
supporters of the College. Grants range in size from a few hundred dollars, to what
amounts to full tuition and fees for one semester.
What types of scholarships are available?
|
There are two types of scholarships available for CCC students through the CCC
Foundation: merit-based and need-based. Merit-based scholarships are awarded on the
basis of Grade Point Average (GPA) and NOT on a student's ability to pay for their
education. Most merit-based scholarships require a GPA of 3.0 or better. Need-based
scholarships are awarded on the basis of a student's need for financial assistance in
order to attend Cecil College. To obtain one of these grants, students must
complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form available
in the Student Development office.
