Accelerated Degree Programs

Accelerated Studies for the Adult Professional (ASAP)

Accelerated Studies for the Adult Professional Logo Accelerated Studies for the Adult Professional (ASAP) is designed for the working adult who wants to earn an undergraduate degree while continuing to work full or part time. The program combines theory and practice through classroom, on-line and guided experiential learning. Students who are self-directed, goal oriented and can draw on professional experiences will appreciate the rigorous structure of an accelerated degree program. The learning environment is academically stimulating and personally supportive.

Students enrolled in ASAP degree programs can attain an associate's degree in 17 months. Coursework is offered in seven, nine-week sessions. During each nine-week session, students earn nine to 11 credits in a combination of classroom, on-line and experiential learning formats. The integrated curriculum links classroom learning, workplace application and independent study.

In an effort to provide additional opportunities to students, ASAP students can take advantage of Cecil College's partnership agreements with four-year institutions. This partnership and course-to-course articulation agreements provide access and convenience to individuals at the baccalaureate degree level.

Admission to the accelerated degree programs requires an admission process separate from general admission to Cecil College.
