General Studies
Associate of Arts
General Program Information: 410-287-1000 or information@cecil.edu
This program is designed for students who want maximum flexibility in their choice of courses. The program provides a core background in the humanities, mathematics, computer science, science, and social sciences. Beyond meeting general education state requirements, the program offers students an opportunity to design, in cooperation with an academic advisor, a series of courses for exploring career opportunities, achieving personal goals, or meeting transfer requirements. By using the ARTSYS computerized transfer program, available in Student Enrollment and Support Services through an advisor or via the Internet at http://artweb.usmd.edu, students can design a program of studies that will transfer
seamlessly to an upper division college or university of choice.
