The recent slayings of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Atlanta is a tragic reminder of the increase of violence targeted towards specific ethnicities, races, and genders. Cecil College stands with the American Association of Community Colleges, our 15 sister Maryland Community Colleges, and partners in education in publicly condemning all hate crimes.

Cecil College supports a campus and larger community that is inclusive of a diversity of people, thoughts and practices. We are a committed home to a community of learners who strive to broaden their knowledge of how similarities and differences in the world can advance and not stall humanity. Cecil College continues to assess and develop resources to increase opportunities and reduce the barriers for people of color and other minority groups. Seahawk pride is based on mutual respect. There is no place for hate on our campuses.
